This research was conducted over six months from July to December 2014, aiming to develop responsive policies for changing family environment and to gather basic statistics about families by surveying 3,000 men and women aged 19 and over residing in Jeju Island. It examines various aspects such as characteristics of Jeju people and household types, marital status, marriage intention, plans for having children, childcare situations, family life, family values, and policy needs. The goal was to suggest measures to enhance support, using the insights from this exploration.
