Research
This research includes an analysis of a domestic violence survey conducted among 3,000 Jeju people. It examines the experiences and policy needs of both victims of domestic violence and professionals working in related agency through in-depth interviews. The research recommends measures based on its findings. These include broadening the promotion of domestic violence-related policies, extending targeted prevention education, enhancing support for family therapy programs, providing customized protection for victims and support for their children, strengthening victim confidentiality, establishing an integrated system for domestic violence, bolstering the support network, internalizing and operating organizations that focus on domestic violence, improving police responses and legal procedures, and expanding support for programs aimed at correcting perpetrator behavior.
