Research
This research aims to guide the expansion of 24-hour daycare facilities in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It involves surveying parents of infants and toddlers in Jeju, exploring their economic activities and child-rearing. The research also examines their demand for 24-hour childcare and identifies suitable areas for expanding these services. By conducting a survey among 322 parents of infants and toddlers aged 0-5 years old in Jeju (including interviews with 30 parents) to achieve its purpose, this research provides tailored policy recommendations and suggests a very limited number of 24-hour daycare centers based on survey results.
