This research examines the living conditions and policy needs of women facing severe disabilities in Jeju. A survey was conducted among 300 adult women with severe disabilities aged 19 and older, residing in Jeju. Based on the survey findings, the research recommends initiatives including implementing child support systems to different disability types, supporting postpartum care expenses, implementing vocational training programs, supporting employment, establishing a visiting family doctor system, mandating sign language interpreters in general hospitals, instituting a two-person system for taxi calls for people with disabilities, and monitoring disability-friendly facilities.
