Research
This study was conducted in Jeju to find ways to revitalize community care in the village, where residents perform their responsibilities and roles in caring services as the main body of the village and take care of each other. To this end, a field survey was conducted on the community in which village community-based caring services are being implemented, and a focus group interview (FGI) was conducted on 16 carers (guardians) and care service providers in Jeju.
Policy implications for revitalizing community care in the village include △ Community locality and flexible regional awareness △ Reinforcement of care services to strengthen the subjectivity of carers △ Reinforcement of capacity of community and carers and establishment of a complementary system △ Support for community members to implement independent care services △ Support for joint production and administration (public institution) linkage △ Complementary points of the existing care system were derived, and a model for revitalizing community care was presented
