This research undertook a survey of companies in Jeju, aiming to examine their support for work-life balance and workplace culture. The research explored the introduction and use of work-life balance support systems, operational experiences, and policy needs.
Additionally, focus group interviews with representatives of companies and workers in Jeju provided valuable insights into work-life balance experiences and policy needs.
Drawing from these findings, the research recommends tasks such as establishing the 'Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Family-Friendly and Work-Life Balance Support Ordinance', strengthening preliminary support and incentives for Jeju Family-Friendly Certified Companies, providing information on work-life balance, and sharing best practices for SMEs.
