This research aimed to identify and analyze in detail the current status of small tourism businesses in Jeju and their employees by gender, and thereby to seek policy measures for labor-management coexistence and contribute to creating workplaces without blind spots. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 416 employees and 201 employers of small tourism businesses in Jeju. As a result, the research drew out policy implications for preventing the small size and financially distressing situation of small tourism businesses from rapidly deteriorating, improving the working conditions for the employees of small tourism businesses, strengthening the protection for the employees of small tourism businesses, and for establishing a climate crisis response system among the tourism businesses in Jeju.
