This research aims to comprehensively understand the perceptions and status of women and men in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province as of 2021. The goal is to establish gender statistics across relevant sectors to serve as a foundation for policy-making and enhance the accessibility of gender statistics for residents. For this purpose, key indicators for gender statistics in 2021 were selected, spanning 11 categories: population, family, childcare, education, economic activity, health, welfare, political and social participation, culture, safety and environment, and comparison between cities and provinces.
