This research assesses the effectiveness of current career support programs in universities in Jeju from a gender perspective. Through in-depth interviews, it explores the experiences of gender equality education, career programs, and policy needs of female college students, young adult women, and relevant field experts in Jeju. The findings underscore the necessity for a gender-based approach in university career support programs and a paradigm shift to extend such support to graduates. The research also recommends the implementation of career support and development programs that consider the life cycle of female university students. 11 policy issues across three areas are proposed as policy tasks to address these concerns.
