Conducted to identify the effects of COVID-19 on the lives of Jeju women and families, this research used an online survey with 1,018 Jeju residents focusing on 4 key areas: family dynamics, caregiving, women's employment, and violence against women. Based on the survey results, the research proposes 13 specific tasks across these 4 areas. The proposals include prioritizing integrated support services for vulnerable households, establishing a community-centered integrated village care system, supporting women's employment stability, providing support for women's work in women-dominated industries, expanding and subsidizing family care leave, strengthening access to crisis response, increasing promotion of support organizations, and expanding facilities to provide a room for each person in shelters and temporary self-quarantine.
