The challenges arising from reduced social relationships, difficulties in entering the labor market, and increased caregiving responsibilities have contributed to a rise in mental health issues among young women during the COVID-19 era. Surveying 506 young women in their 20s and 30s in Jeju, the results reveal the various factors affecting their mental health. The research proposes 17 detailed tasks in 4 key areas as policy responses to the psychological crisis among young women: improving mental health laws and systems, providing youth-friendly mental health services through local resource linkage, creating a mental health service environment, and establishing a collaborative mental health policy system.
