This research conducted in 2019 aimed to comprehensively understand the perceptions and status of women and men in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The objective was to establish gender statistics across relevant sectors, serving as a foundational basis for policies, and to enhance the accessibility of gender statistics for citizens. Using the ｢2017 Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Gender Statistics｣ as a framework, the main indicator system for 2019 was developed. These indicators consist of 11 categories, covering population, family, childcare, education, economic activity, health, welfare, political and social participation, culture, safety and environment, and a provincial comparison.
