Research

This research addresses the persistent perception of the English Education City as a 'distant place' disconnected from the local community in Jeju, even ten years after its promotion. Through in-depth interviews with parents and students residing in the English Education City, and representatives from neighboring communities, the research assesses the current state of disconnection and connection between migrants in the English Education City and the local community. It proposes policy tasks aimed at fostering mutual benefits.
