Research
This research closely examines the entry into the job market and occupational mobility pathways of male and female college graduates in Jeju. The aim is to generate empirical evidence on the labor market transition pathways and outcomes of highly educated young adults and highlight the necessity for a gender-sensitive approach and the development of youth employment policies. Drawing from the research findings, the research recommends policy responses to foster youth employment. These include establishing and enhancing a central platform for youth jobs in Jeju, reinforcing education and vocational skill development programs relevant to youth employment, and developing programs to enhance policy awareness and credibility.
