To outline tasks for establishing a gender-equitable and reasonable marriage culture in Jeju, a survey was conducted involving 505 people who were either married or parents of those who got married within the last three years. Additionally, 10 in-depth interviews were carried out with those who married, their parents, and individuals in the wedding industry. The results led to the proposal of 16 detailed tasks across 6 areas. These include discovering and supporting diverse wedding venues and partners, formulating housing policies aligned with Jeju's characteristics, establishing a Jeju marriage portal site and operating a marriage mentor group, developing a small wedding model and establishing a revitalization system, regularizing and invigorating wedding fairs, and implementing awareness-raising projects to promote a rational marriage culture.
