The challenges perceived by residents of Jeju in achieving work-life balance for men and their involvement in household chores and childcare stem from a combination of structural issues including a culture with gender biases and extended working hours. By exploring the experiences of men in Jeju and understanding their policy needs, this research aims to identify measures to encourage and enhance male participation in caregiving.
