In preparation for a subsequent project following the 'Like Jeju' project, this research evaluated the performance of gender equality policies in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The focus is on establishing effective strategies for gender equality policies in the region and identifying new challenges. Through expert consultations, focus group Interviews (FGI), and consultations and meetings by policy area, a vision, goals, and policy areas were proposed. The vision 'Building a Gender-Equal Jeju Society Together' was put forth along with three goals: improving the quality of life for women and families, strengthening women's economic empowerment, and creating a gender-equal social environment. Additionally, three policy areas and 12 policy tasks were identified, covering areas such as reinforcing support for women and family welfare, promoting women's employment, and enhancing community gender awareness.
