This research seeks to examine the living conditions of women who live alone in Jeju. To this end, it surveyed 400 women living alone in Jeju, exploring aspects such as their background, economic and housing status, safety and health conditions, family care, and future plans. Based on the survey findings, the research recommends policies in two key areas: reinforcing institutional support and capacity building for single-person households of women. This involves policy efforts such as providing small housing and crime prevention services, supporting family care, expanding health prevention projects, and developing programs to activate social relationships.
