To understand the living conditions of women in rural Jeju, this research surveyed 509 women aged 20 and over residing in towns and villages in the province. Additionally, in-depth interviews were conducted with female farmers and 25 non-agricultural women in rural areas. The findings led to proposed support measures such as physical, mental, and psychological health support, gender equality education for rural residents, introduction of a 'Rural Women's Culture Day', a call center to assist during farming labor shortages, support for market expansion, the necessity of a designated official for women farmers, and assistance in job research for rural women.
