This research aimed to investigate the current status and demand for female labor in businesses across Jeju and suggest future-oriented policy directions and tasks aimed at advancing female employment in Jeju. Through a review of female employment statistics and policies in Jeju, in-depth interviews were conducted with 300 businesses operating in six strategic industries (health food, water applications, tourism digital content, wind and electric vehicle services, and recreational beauty care) as outlined in <Jeju Regional Industry Promotion Plan>. The goal was to understand the status of female employment within these industries. This research proposed policy tasks to encourage female employment in these industries.
