Research
This research, based on in-depth interviews (10 people) and surveys (500 respondents) conducted from July to October 2016, focuses on residents aged 20 and over living in public rental apartments in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The aim is to explore gender-sensitive policies for public rental housing. It identifies reasons for relocation, challenges within the public rental housing system, both internal and external inconveniences, issues with resident meetings and neighbor conflicts, housing renovation and welfare facility needs, and policy needs. The outcome proposed a public rental housing policy plan integrating a gender perspective.
