Jeju is recently faced with the double crisis of natural population decrease and social population decrease. Such changes could lead to local extinction and lower regional competitiveness from a long-term perspective. In this regard, this research analyzed demographic changes in Jeju and drew out future tasks to respond to potential local extinction.
