The purpose of this study is to produce evidence for improving the gender wage gap and realizing fair wages by precisely analyzing the gender labor status and wage gap in the Jeju labor market. To this end, this study aims to structurally diagnose the labor status of wage workers in Jeju using the raw data of the 2023 「Regional Employment Survey」 recently published by the National Statistical Office, analyze the gender wage gap accurately, and derive policy implications.
