This study assessed the quality of life of 1,500 adults aged 19 and older in Jeju Island across eight areas: birth, growth, education, economic activity, family and gender equality, health and leisure, income and consumption, housing, safety, environment, social participation, and well-being. Based on the survey results, the study proposed policy recommendations, including: ▲establishing integrated policies to enhance quality of life across the life cycle; ▲reducing regional imbalances and fostering a sustainable lifestyle; ▲strengthening integrated gender equality policies based on quality of life; and ▲establishing a data-driven quality of life policy and regular survey system.
