This brief analyzes the current status of gender equality in Jeju following the inauguration of the 9th elected administration of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, as well as the evolving policy environment shaped by the establishment of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and broader policy shifts, including AI and climate transition. Based on this analysis, it presents six key gender equality and family policy agendas that complement and align with the “100 Policy Initiatives for a Future-Ready Jeju with Its Citizens.”
